[She giggles and reaches out to pat her snout.]

[the dragon thumps its tail happily against the ground]

[Cuuuute. All the snout pats.] So, just hangin' out here?

[the dragon bobs its head up and down, before lumbering aside]

[Your eyes are immediately greeted with PILES AND PILES AND PILES of treasure. Gold coins, shiny gemstones, long strings of pearls. There are enough valuables in here to feed an entire village for years.]

[Scattered among the loose valuables are a bunch of treasure chests. They are all in pristine condition and very well cared for. Whatever is inside of them must be more precious than any of this gold]

Ooooh, shiny.

[Certainly pretty and she moves in to look around. But she notices the chests and they looked cared for and that means they're the valuables, right?]

[She looks at the chest and glances at the dragon] All right if I look?

[soulping]

[you'll notice that each chest's lid is marked with a different symbol: a sword, a clover, a rose, a lightning bolt, a spiral, a star, a cutlass, a sapphire, a garnet, a void symbol, just to name a few]

[the dragon bobs its head up and down in an affirmative response]

[Well, now I gotta look.]

[touching the chest imparts to her a feeling of "Roxy." "This chest belongs to Roxy."]

[inside she finds an assortment of items: a Rogue of Void outfit, a set of lock picks, a picture frame and an unsealed letter. the letter is obscuring the frame slightly, so it's difficult to see what picture is within it]

[the picture is of the both of them, dressed in their respective ROGUE OF VOID outfits, flying across a beautiful and colorful landscape. they look thrilled and happy!]

Hey, Roxy!

You know, I still feel sort of bad for pushing through all of your issues during your soul game. Who wouldn't? That sure was a lot of privacy invaded. But at the same time. . .

I'm kinda glad it happened, 'cause it meant that I got to know you better. That you got to know me better. I meet a lot of people who sympathize with me, and even some who understand. But I don't meet many who have BEEN THERE like you have.

S'nice. To have someone who can empathize. Who has been through it and knows what it feels like. Our situations aren't exact parallels, but there are enough similarities for me to feel like you get it.

[the dragon tilts its head to the side, as if to say "nope. not here."]

[Will close her chest again and move over to the dragon, petting it's snout.] Thank you for letting me see.

[like last time, when she pets the dragon's snout, she feels a feeling of intense fondness]

[the dragon lets out a rumbly, but pleased, reply]

I'm gonna move on now. Take care of yourself.

[Another pet and gonna head back to the city.]
